Just an update on how I am eating at the moment..
B - Either a poached egg on a cruskit or 1/2 sachet of porridge oats.
MT - 1 Cruskit with creamed cheese
L - 1 cruskit with creamed cheese, tuna mixed with olive and feta dip, and a drizzle of olive oil.
AT - Tuna in mornay sauce (1/4 - 1/2c)
D - Baked basa fillet fish in garlic, herbs and butter. About 100g.
S - Maybe a yogurt, usually nothing or a hot chocolate.
This switches up a bit, maybe baked beans... not enough fruit and veg though. Its hard to make every thing a priority now, AND get protein right. Gah.
I am also drinking water okay, but I find if I am feeling really dehydrated, a water icy pole does wonders, despite the sugar content. I am using the MyFitnessPal app to track my calories and protein intake. My calories seem to hover around 700-800 a day, and my protein varies depending how much fish and eggs I get in, but averages about 30. I'm supposed to aim for 60. I'm starting to tire of fish and eggs. As of this Friday, I can add another level of food to my diet with soft cooked pastas, legumes, and chicken mince all on the allowed list. For Xmas dinner, I am planning wonton soup, crab cakes, and baked barramundi.
I notice if I eat too fast I get that indigestion feeling, and I burp a lot with either food or drink. I got some over the counter nausea medication (nausetil) and it has helped so much, I feel almost human - almost normal now.
